Project Design Manager Retail Concepts


As a Project Design Manager you will be supporting a premium automotive brand in shaping the future "look and feel" of the dealerships across Europe. You will be responsible for optimising the quality of the design & compliance to the Corporate Identity Standards as part of the roll out of the new retail concept and customer experience on an international scale. You will be the central point of contact for all key internal & external stakeholders in respect of the design, design standards and quality of centrally procured supply chain. You will be engaged internally with marketing, design and finance and externally with key contractors, suppliers and the dealerships themselves. It is your mission, with the team, to guide the local dealers into change and to help them to determine how they can fit into the new interior and architectural design. You will help define the standards requirements of each project, you will monitor the execution of the plans in accordance to approvals made. You will monitor budgets and deadlines, you will act as a problem solver to support the local network development teams & dealerships. In doing so, you are the driving force behind the implementation of the corporate retail concept 2025.
You will be working with conceptual architects in the development of new concepts / initiatives form initial briefing to prototyping and piloting. The development & definition of standards to meet the expected standards across a variety of dealership types.


• You obtained a bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in (interior) architecture or architecture. You have gained project management experience preferably on an international scale.
• You will have knowledge & experience in automotive or retail concepts and their rollout or network expansion on an international scale.
• Thanks to your communicative and relational skills, you can inspire others and get people to move into the same direction;
• You have good organizational skills; you are result oriented and you know how to set priorities;
• Given the international context, you have a good knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an asset.
• You will work from the office in the Brussels region. Travel within Europe is limited to <10%.
